Schorl with Feldspar (Charlie Key)

An aesthetic and showy, intergrown cluster of splendent, jet-black schorl crystals accented with starkly contrasting white feldspar on one side from recent finds in the Erongo Mountains. Crystal faces are mostly smooth, but some are interestingly etched. The large crystal is 7.0 cm and is doubly terminated, with the primary termination being complex and accent with feldspar, while the lower terminatin is heavily etched and looks like the Giant's Causeway in Ireland. The excellent piece is essentially pristine, with only minor contacting on the backside. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock.
