Schorl w/ Muscovite ex Obodda

Item Description

An aesthetic and fine schorl crystal cluster accented with muscovite from a much less well-known Pakistan locale - the Basha Valley. The complex pyramidal, sharply terminated crystals have very high luster which compliments the well-striated sides. A bit of contacting and periphery wear are noted, but are mostly out of sight and are certainly not a detraction. These are fine black crystals, not ones that soaks up light but ones that rather reflect and shows off "color" despite its darkness. Ex Herb Obodda older dealer stock and valued by Herb at $400, over ten years ago. Herb valued this schorl highly for its form, excellence and uncommon locale.
