Item Description

A stout, sharp, lustrous Schorl Tourmaline crystal rises out of the left side of the piece amongst numerous rosettes of white Albite var. Cleavelandite. Sticking up out of the snowy Cleavelandite, the Schorl measures just over 2 inches in length and over one inch in across the termination. Both the prism faces and the flat pinacoid termination are lustrous and the prism faces are markedly striated. The Cleavelandite is composed of numerous, mounded tufts of lustrous, scintillating blades of Albite that have the perfect amount of separation to show them off beautifully. It's a nicely balanced and composed piece in perfect condition!
