The pegmatites around Jefferson County, Montana have produced some interesting and attractive specimens in recent years. This piece is a worthwhile, stout, large thumbnail sized Schorl crystal. Sharp faces, good crystallization on the display side, and above average luster make for one of the better Schorls from this area that I've seen.
