A beautiful and HIGHLY aesthetic specimen of black Schorl Tourmaline crystals from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia featuring several fine quality, highly lustrous, prismatic trigonal crystals intergrown to form a very three-dimensional display piece. The largest crystal measures 2.7 cm. No matrix on this one, it's pure Schorl, and looks fantastic from several angles. The piece is nearly crystallized all around, with only a few minor points of attachment / contact to be seen. The Schorl crystals from this locality are some of the best examples of Schorl from any world locality. A wonderful and visually enticing specimen from this prolific specimen-producing area.
