Item Description
Glistening, jet black terminations of parallel growth Schorl crystals dominate this showy Tourmaline from Burma. Dozens of stubby, 1 to 2.5 cm Schorl crystals are tightly grouped together in this fascinating piece. All of the terminal and prism faces on this miniature are glossy black and super reflective, catching light from every direction. Because all of the well formed terminations coalesce in a rounded surface at the top it looks very geometric and mesmerizing! The bottom is contacted and shows some minor amounts of Muscovite in association.
