Item Description
An aesthetic and rare combination from the Haramosh Mountains and the Art Soregaroli Collection. Smoky quartz is rare from this locale. Striking opposing smoky quartz crystals are well-accented by the 4.4 cm, trigonal schorl crystal. The impressive doubly terminated smoky is 7.3 cm long. The lustrous smokies are water-clear to translucent and have glass-clear to frosted faces. A bit of cleavelandite is a nice accent. The upright smoky and schorl terminations have very trivial bruising. One end of the DT smoky is lightly dinged (mostly out-of-sight) and the lower part of the other end is contacted. This remains a rare, highly sculptural, 360-degree example of the species.
