Item Description
Excellent stalactite of lustrous Schorl that grew along a narrow ridge of Feldspar. The Schorls are, for the most part, equant crystals with the famous 'Mercedes' trigonal terminations. One Schorl is 2 cm long, but most are about 1.5 cm. Many of the edges are beveled, and the lustrous faces are smooth or striated. Erongo Schorls are about the best there are, and the aesthetics are striking. Better in person.
