Schorl (set of three with different terminations)

Item Description

A very nice set of three of the well-known Schorls from Erongo, each showing a different termination. Two of the crystals have the famous trigonal (Mercedes) termination - one with mirror-like faces and one with hundreds of lustrous little micro-steps on the three faces. These two pieces are 4 and 3.6 cm across, respectively. The other Schorl has an attractive rhombahedral stepped termination, with the steps creating a rhomb-diamond pattern. This crystal is 2.6 cm across. A very good reference set comprised of quality crystals.
