Schorl on Quartz with Hyalite Opal

Item Description

Sharp, lustrous set of four Schorls set in a matrix of Quartz and Hyalite Opal. The striated Schorls have the highly-desired, and superbly lustrous, Mercedes (triginol) terminations. The largest of the Schorls is about 1 cm x 1 cm. One crystal does have a contact along one edge, and there is a small sidecar with no termination, but most everything is pristine and razor-sharp. A very good miniature, with balance and good aesthetics.
