Schorl on Quartz (Harold Urish Coll.)

Item Description

Diverging sprays of lustrous, interestingly etched, jet-black schorl crystals are aesthetically scattered on the quartz crystal matrix plate on this showy and excellent specimen from the Harold Urish Collection. Schorl specimens from this Sonora locale are relatively uncommon and this is a very fine combination example. The Urish Collection dates to the 1960s and 70s.
