Excellent, complex single crystal of Schorl resting on a matrix of smaller, euhedral Feldspar crystals. Perhaps the finest Schorls in the world come from Erongo, and this beauty is no exception. The luster is superb and it has the famous trigonal 'Mercedes' termination, as well as sharp but subtle striations on the side faces. Two of the sides have a reentrant, which adds complexity and visual appeal. The Schorl is 3 cm tall and 2.4 cm across. The sharp Feldspars range up to .9 cm in size. An excellent, aesthetic miniature.
