Item Description
Aesthetic and sculptural large combination from a NEW FIND in the Shigar Valley. A pristine, 6.7 cm, lustrous, striated, terminated trigonal jet-black schorl dramatically projects upward from the well-composed bone-white matrix of intergrown, pearlescent, etched blocky microcline crystals. Patches of yellow lepidolite crystals on the microclines are a fine contrast and accessory. The sharp dominating microcline crystal is 4.5 x 4.0 x 3.7 cm. The schorl crystal protrudes out of the bottom of the piece and is actually 9.7 cm long. A classic and excellent large 360-degree schorl combination from the well-known locale.
