Item Description
Classic and aesthetic 360-degree schorl combination from recent finds in the well-known Shigar Valley. The pristine, exposed, 6.7 cm, trigonal schorl is jet-black, highly lustrous and well-striated with a pyramidal termination. A porcelaneous, blocky, 1.7 cm, Microcline crystal partially coated with creamy Lepidolite microcrystals and dramatically accented with a striking, 1.1 cm, tabular schorl near the large schorl termination is an outstanding accessory. The schorl base is embedded in a sculptural cluster of blocky, porcelaneous, Microcline crystals peppered with both creamy and oxide-coated Lepidolite microcrystals. The patch of Lepidolites on the Schorl adds even more character. A very artistic and excellent schorl combination from the famous locale.
