Item Description
A pristine 7.4 cm, lustrous, jet-black, striated, trigonal schorl crystal with a pyramidal termination dramatically dominates this aesthetic and sculptural large combination from recent finds in the well-known Shigar Valley. The schorl is actually 8.4 cm long, as it sticks out of the bottom of the piece. Sections of smaller schorls, to 4.1 cm, are very nicely scattered about on the mounded matrix of porcelaneous, white, blocky microcline crystals partially covered with creamy lepidolite microcrystals. A very showy and excellent 360-degree schorl combination from the famous locale.
