Item Description

A pristine 5.8 cm schorl crystal proudly and dramatically rises up from the blocky combination matrix on this aesthetic, 360-degree small cabinet from a recent 2022 find in the famous Shigar Valley. The lustrous, striated, jet-black trigonal crystal has a bit of attached feldspar on the pyramidal termination. Creamy pearlescent lepidolite coats the blocky intergrown microcline crystals of the matrix. Smaller schorl sections on the matrix, especially the 3.0 cm section are super accents and complements. A sculptural and excellent schorl combination from the noted locale. From a new find in 2020-2021.
