Item Description
A striking, splendent, well-striated, jet-black schorl from an unknown pegmatite in Brazil. The mirror luster of the termination faces and the elongated, three-sided form are noteworthy, as is the nifty, chevron-shaped, stepped-growth on one termination face. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only very modest edgewear. AN AMAZING SCHORL from any locale, but especially from Brazil where such is uncommon. Ex Ernie Schlichter Collection
