Schorl ex Obodda

Item Description

Sharp schorls of this impressive large size are very uncommon from Pech. The highly lustrous, well-striated, crystal has a sharp pyramidal termination and the little sidecar crystal is a nifty accent. The base is wrapped in coated albite and two prongs of the schorl here are terminated. This striking large crystal is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a tiny amount of termination edge wear. Very modest periphery wear is noted to the albite. Very fine and uncommon large schorl from this locale from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $850, five or more years ago.
