Item Description
How often does one see a Czech Schorl? This piece comes to us from the collection of now deceased Colorado geologist, Allen Heyl (the namesake for Aheylite), and is accompanied by a Rocksmiths label, otherwise, I would have no way of knowing where it's from. It's a very attractive full thumbnail sized specimen with excellent quality, very lustrous, sharp faces, and an attractive termination. The crystal seems to have a bit of intergrown mica on the termination, which might be cleaned to improve the piece. If you're a Tourmaline collector, don't miss this opportunity to obtain a rarely locality crystal for your collection.
