Dramatic and surreal schorl and quartz combination from a new find in the famous Shigar Valley. A 6.7 cm, pristine, lustrous, striated, trigonal, jet-black schorl is stunningly partially enclosed on the side of a pristine doubly terminated FLOATER quartz crystal! The gemmy quartz crystal has water-clear and frosted faces. Scattered patches of creamy lepidolite microcrystals and albite are typical and enhancing accessories. The attachment for this dynamic combination rarity is at the base of the schorl crystal. Try to find another like it!
