Schorl & Cleavelandite ex Obodda

A beautifully composed schorl and cleavelandite combination from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Two, sharp, highly lustrous, well-striated, trigonal schorl crystals are attractively cloaked with rosettes of off-white cleavelandite blades with a couple of quartz crystals on the back. The pyramidal terminations are matte to lustrous and are mostly etched. A classic, very aesthetic, complete all-around and nearly pristine combination piece The display view is pristine. Out-of-sight contacting to the large schorl next to the cleavelandite is noted. Herb valued this fine combination at $500, over five years ago.
