Item Description

A classic and showy older schorl specimen from this famous quarry. Sharp, lustrous, jet-black crystals and crystal sections are nicely set atop the mounded granite pegmatite matrix. The well-placed and pristine doubly terminated crystal is 5.2 cm. An uncommon and excellent matrix specimen for the locale and from the Paterson Museum Collection.
