Item Description
Classic Erongo cluster composed of Smoky Quartz and Schorl. The Smokies are lightly-colored, gemmy, with average luster. The longest crystal is 2.4 cm, and is in excellent condition. The Schorls have the typical superb luster that you see from Erongo, and also have the highly-desired 'Mercedes' trigonal terminations. The Schorls are about 2.5 cm long and wide, respectively, and the frame the piece beautifully. The much shorter 1.2 cm Smoky has a dinged tip, but it doesn't affect the overall aesthetics, which is dominated by the larger Smoky and the Schorls. A classic combination piece with very good aesthetics.
