Item Description

Adorable and pristine 360-degree schorl and cleavelandite miniature combination from the famous pegmatites of the Shigar District. An impressive 4.8 cm trigonal, jet-black schorl crystal with lustrous, well-striated prism faces is dramatically capped with a striking matte luster, pinacoidal termination with highly modified edges. Vividly contrasting spherical clusters of glassy, snow-white cleavelandite blades elegantly enclose most of the base of the schorl. A classic and aesthetic schorl and cleavelandite miniature combination from the noted locale.
