Schorl and Albite

Item Description

A very long, elegantly formed, lustrous, black schorl crystal that is wider at the termination than the base. It has a small amount of white albite attached. The matte-luster triangular terminal faces contrast to the lustrous prism faces. It is 233 grams in mass. This complete crystal is significant for its splayed aesthetic form, and lack of the usual repairs on such large pieces. formerly in the old dealer stock of Herb Obodda, valued $3500
