Schorl

Item Description

A nice Schorl display specimen from an unknown locale in Minas Gerais. This specimen features sharp black Schorl crystals with good luster. Some of the crystals show beautiful etching patterns in areas. The Schorls are sitting on minor etched Quartz(?) matrix. A few crystals are contacted, but the main crystal is in fine shape. The largest Schorl measures 1.3 cm. This is a good quality Schorl, despite some rough crystals, and a nice respite from the plethora of Namibian Schorls on the market right now, don't miss out.
