Schorl

Item Description

Schorl is an iron-rich, opaque black Tourmaline, but it is its own species. Obviously with all the colorful Tourmaline in the world, cutting a black gem is not terribly practical, but if you collect Tourmaline gems, you SHOULD have a Schorl in your collection. This stone has a standard "Pear" cut, and is completely opaque. A good stone for any "black gem" collection as well.
