Item Description
Rarely have I seen Schorl specimens with this exceptional crystal habit. One end, 1.6 cm for its part, is a sharp, complex termination that is broad and lustrous (some contacting on the back faces). This crystal grades into literally dozens of small, terminated, and highly lustrous Schorls at the other end, about 1.8 cm for its part. Superb, floating aesthetics. I have seen few quite like it - it reminds me of a comet.
