Lovely cluster of super-lustrous jet-black Schorls from the well-know Erongos. From either of two directions, you can have a wonderfully aesthetic view of the piece. One view centers on the two main main crystals, each about 1.6 cm long and having the trigonal (Mercedes) termination. In fact, all the crystals have that desirable termination! From another vantage, you can see a superb fan of crystals that is 3 cm across, with the larger Schorls backing it like mountain peaks in the background. An excellent, aesthetic miniature that is better in person than the pics due to it's high degree of dimensionality.
