Item Description
Scholzite is a rare hydrated Ca-Zn phosphate with probably of the finest examples of the species coming from this well-known Australian zinc and phosphorous mine. Two gorgeous and striking sprays of gemmy, acicular crystals to 1.7 cm are pleasingly set on the side of the matrix. Showy and excellent material from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained from the Richard Barstow Collection in 1976 for 20 pounds.
