Item Description
Here we have a classic piece of Scholzite, a rare hydrated calcium zinc phosphate, from Reaphook Hill in Australia. Arguably the best examples of the species are those from this locality. This piece features beautiful, sharp, prismatic, white colored thin bladed "needles" of Scholzite measuring up to 7 mm on oxidized matrix. A great rarity to be sure, and worth picking up if you collect phosphates, Australian minerals or just general worldwide rarities.
