Item Description

Schoenfliesite is a very rare Mg-Sn hydroxide. Yellow-brown to whitish crusts richly cover both sides and are noted on the edges of the hefty, layered triangular matrix on this very rare and excellent combination piece from this historic locale. The rich ore also contains magnetite, plus the rare borates hulsite and ludwigite, according to the labels. From a noted rarities collection.
