Item Description

An aesthetic and rare combination specimen from the famous Taewha Mine of South Korea. A very sharp, glassy, gemmy to translucent, mottled lavender to gray-brown, textbook tetragonal scheelite crystal is beautifully complimented by rare for the locale, clusters of intergrown siderite rhombs. The super sharp scheelite exhibits textbook pseudo-octahedral form. These scheelites were long considered the world"s finest, until recently surpassed by the new Chinese finds. Nearly pristine with only very trivial bruising. A highly desirable and rare 360-degree scheelite combination from this famous locality. Excellent blue-white fluorescence. Valued at $500.
