Scheelite is RARE from this well-known Chinese beryllium mine, where much of the green fluorite on the market has recently come from; and these sharp crystals came out in the 1990s, and very rarely since. A beautiful, translucent, tan, 4.1 x 3.3 x 3.0 cm, textbook tetragonal pyramidal scheelite crystal is nicely flanked by quartz on this aesthetic miniature. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only two lightly bruised prism edges. Classic ghostly white fluorescent. Ex Bill and Anne Cook Collection, major Cleveland, Ohio collectors and dealers. A fine and rare combination miniature from the Xianghuapu Mine. Although a common source for fluorite, the scheelite is rare!
