Item Description

Sharp, lustrous and translucent, golden-brown, scheelite octahedrons to 1.0 cm are attractively scattered on the matrix plate covered with zinnwaldite-covered quartz crystals. Zinnwaldite is a discredited lithium-rich mica group varietal, named for this famous district. You can see the tips of several quartz crystals peering out above the coating. Excellent and probably old-time combination material from this famous district on the Czech side of the historic Erzgebirge. Ex Fioravanti Collection and obtained in an exchange with the University of Naples Mineral Museum in 1978. White fluorescence.
