Scheelite & Quartz (New Find)

Item Description

A dramatic and aesthetic scheelite and quartz combination specimen from a small New Find at Mt. Xuebaoding. A glorious, water-clear to translucent, 4.4 cm, pristine quartz crystal is attached to the side of a sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy to translucent, rich orange-yellow scheelite octahedron. The quartz crystals on the other side of the scheelite add balance to this excellent combination piece. Very little new material has come out recently, due to the major earthquake in the area. Bright white fluorescence, as you would expect.
