Eight, sharp, textbook pseudo-hexagonal, translucent, gray to brown scheelite crystals with satin luster faces are dramatically and aesthetically scattered on the sculptural matrix of brecciated quartz crystal sections. The imposing freestanding large scheelite on the upper left is 2.1 cm tall and the large scheelite at the top with the embedded quartz is 3.2 cm across. The two scheelites on the right edge are partially contacted, but are undamaged. The other six scheelites are pristine. The quartz is peppered with tiny scheelites, adding even more character. Classic ghostly white scheelite fluorescence. This is a remarkable, fine and very sculptural scheelite and quartz combination from the famous Yaogangxian Mine. Older material.
