Item Description
The famous Tae Wha mine in Korea has produced some very attractive Tungsten minerals. The Scheelite and Ferberites from this mine are some of the most classic for the species. This specimen hosts a sharp, lustrous, well-formed, uniquely "purple" color pseudo-octahedral crystals of Scheelite aesthetically sitting a sharp, lustrous, jet-black color, bladed crystals of Ferberite which is associated with accenting Quartz crystals. The piece is complete on the display side, and is very good condition overall. It is certainly an attractive specimen from this storied locality in a now less than accessible part of the world. From the John Arnaud collection, with other accompanying labels.
