Item Description
An exotic and aesthetic large combination from this remote, now famous Chinese mine. Striking, glassy, transparent, fluorite cuboctahedrons have fantastic stepped-growth faces with olive-green exteriors above pastel-yellow interiors. The intergrown pair is 5.0 cm across. A 2.2 cm, sharp, lustrous, tetragonal gray scheelite crystal with nifty frosted faces is jauntily set on one end. Several vertical clusters of glassy, light pink manganoan calcite disks are scattered about with nice effect. The mounded metallic granular lollingite matrix is covered with small, nubby, matte quartz crystals. Very fine and unusual combination material from this locale. The fluorites and calcites fluoresce under LW UV light and the scheelite and calcites fluorsece under SW UV light. The frontal display view is pristine. Valued at $600-800 for quality and combination.
