An dramatic large compound tetragonal scheelite crystal is aesthetically accented with bright pearlescent mucovite plates on this impressive large combination from famous Mt. Xuebaoding. The striking large crystal measures 8.5 x 7.0 x 4.0 cm in the many fine presentation views. The highly lustrous, glassy rich orange crystal has some desirable gorgeous gem golden-amber terminations. Three sides of the upper half of the crystal are beautiful textbook sharp and nearly pristine, with only slight bruising to a couple of the gemmy terminations. The lower portion of the crystal is contacted. This is a striking, large and highly representative scheelite crystal combination from the noted locale. The crystals GLOWS, when backlit. Ghostly white fluorescence. Quality like this is simply not coming out any more....the "flood" of world class scheelite is pretty much over. Hefty tungsten at 1000 grams or 2.2 pounds.
