Scheelite (fluorescent) and Quartz

This is a large and rich LARGE CABINET specimen from a recent of scheelite in Pakistan! The largest crystal here is 2.0 cm and the brownish-red scheelites actually have some gemminess to them, and have good glassy luster. These scheelites are distinctive in that they are on a bed of very gemmy, slender quartz crystals. Scattered bruising and periphery wear are noted, but are modest detractions to this impressive large specimen. One side and the back have been sawed to enhance the display quality. Scheelite finds are very rare - the vast majority on the market come from China, and to a lesser extent, Vietnam. So this find is quite significant.
