Densely intergrown, tetragonal, pyramidal scheelite crystals form a striking, jagged mountain range specimen from recent finds at well-known Mt. Xuebaoding. The very glassy, highly lustrous, rich orange crystals have some desirable gemmy golden-amber terminations. The large crystal is 3.3 cm on edge and the display views are essentially pristine. A very showy, highly representative, nearly pristine 360-degree small cabinet with a bit of muscovite embedded on one side. The crystals GLOW, when backlit. Ghostly white fluorescence. Quality like this is simply not coming out any more....the "flood" of world class scheelite is pretty much over.
