Scheelite (fluorescent - 2 colors) & Quartz

Sharp scheelite octahedrons and sprays of glassy quartz points are aesthetically clustered on this showy and excellent combination piece from a New Find this at this prolific locality. The three, intergrown octos are a lustrous, translucent, variable tannish-gray. The large doubly terminated octo is 3.7 cm. One of the smaller octos has a cleaved face, which is only a very modest detraction. The quartz points are in very good shape. The scheelites fluoresce two colors: bright white under SW (shown); and lemon-yellow under LW. Fine combination material.
