Scheelite (ex Obodda)

Item Description

This locality has produced some of the most distinctive and signature specimens from China. The best of the Scheelites are incredible and world class for what they are. This particular piece features distinctive, sharp, lustrous, translucent, rich fierty orange color, pseudo-octahedral crystals of Scheelite measuring up to 2.6 cm on edge aesthetically set atop compressed, bladed, silvery Muscovite crystals. The quality is very good and the only imperfections I can see are two separation marks on the top left and bottom right where perhaps another Scheelite crystal once grew, otherwise, damage free and so show!
