Item Description

In the late 1970's-early 1980's, the Camp Bird mine produced some very characteristic Scheelite specimens. These crystals have an easily recognizable brownish hue. Most of these Scheelite crystals will fluoresce a bright blue-white color under SW UV light. This crystal group shows good pyramidal tetragonal form with above average luster, and sharp faces. A few superficial nicks are present, but the piece is in great shape overall.
