Scheelite (ex Allen Heyl Collection)

Item Description

A neat little specimen of Scheelite from the well known White Cloud pegmatite in central Colorado. From the collection of Allen Heyl, a geologist from Colorado, and the namesake for the phosphate, Aheylite. The piece is a fairly sharp, tetragonal (pseudo octahedral) crystal with a soft silvery-grey exterior color, but it actually fluoresces a white-violet and yellow-green hue under UV light.
