Scheelite & Dolomite on Fluorite

A rare Chinese combination piece with a sharp, 3.0 cm, lustrous, translucent, brown scheelite octahedron is jauntily set atop the sculptural two-sided mounded wedge of densely intergrown, very glassy, gemmy, light green fluorite cubes, to 1.3 cm. The numerous contrasting spherical aggregates of bone-white, flattened dolomite rhombs, especially on one side, are a dramatic contrast to the green fluorite and brown scheelite. The scheelite does have two gently bruised corners although the basal periphery wear to the fluorite is noted. These are certainly a modest detraction to a very showy and excellent combination from 2000s finds at this extinct tungsten mine in the famous Xianghualing Sn-polymetallic ore field. Two fluorescents here... Ghostly white scheelite and purple fluorite fluorescence!. The side with the numerous dolomite balls also fluoresces white, indicating there is probably micro scheelite here.
