Item Description
A sharp and classic scheelite crystal from this extinct locale. The textbook greenish-gray tetragonal crystal is moderately translucent, has very waxy luster and etched faces. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. Part of the back is contacted, but there is very little actual damage. These scheelites were long considered the world"s finest, until recently surpassed by the new Chinese finds. Ghostly white fluorescence. Ex Bob Whitmore Collection.
