An impressive and aesthetic large combination plate from Mt. Xuebaoding. A sharp, 3.1 x 2.7 x 2.3 cm, (3.7 cm on the diagonal), gorgeous, translucent, golden-orange, scheelite octahedron is beautifully complimented by the cluster of gem, light blue, tabular aquamarine crystals on the oxide-coated, pearlescent, muscovite blades. The scheelite is nearly pristine, with only one trivial spot of edge wear and the aquas are pristine. The sides and back have been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality. Very little new material is coming out currently and prices are going up. Valued at $2500. A good trim and cleaning job could turn this into a $4000-5000 specimen.
