Item Description

An important PAKISTANI scheelite matrix specimen: An impressive, well-placed, sharp, lustrous, 3.0 x 3.0 cm, pseudo-octahedral Scheelite crystal dominates the sculptural, large Quartz matrix along with smaller scheelites and scheelite crystal sections from recent finds at Pari, Pakistan. The scheelites are mainly orange, but are dramatically accented with beautiful, gemmy red tips and edges. Very small and scattered bruising to the Quartz and Scheelite crystals is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent and uncommon large matrix specimen. There are many more scheelite crystal sections on the back, as bonus. Ghostly white SW UV scheelite fluorescence. Mass is 1976 grams or 4.4 pounds.
